Liam Gallagher (the prickly frontman of supergroup Oasis) has been named as the voice of Henry the Hedgegnome in a major animated series for children’s television.
When asked to comment, Henry the Hedgegnome said (in his newly acquired mancunian accent), “I’m a rock n roll star, and I’m gonna roll with it.”
Mr Gallagher’s reaction was short and sweet, merely stating, “It’s April Fools Day, innit!”
